Ingredients

Scale

1 tbsp (15 mL) canola or sunflower oil

1½ cups (375 mL) frozen peas

1 portion Big Batch Calcium-Boosted Beef, thawed if necessary

2 tsp (10 mL) ground cumin

½ cup (125 mL) shredded mozzarella cheese

5 naan breads (about 8 by 6 inches/20 by 15 cm EACH, one 500 g pkg)

¾ cup (175 mL) crumbled feta cheese

Instructions

  1. Heat oil over medium-high heat in a large nonstick skillet. Cook peas, stirring, for 3 minutes or until starting to thaw. Add Big Batch Calcium-Boosted Beef mixture and cumin; cook, stirring, for about 5 minutes or until beef and vegetables are heated through. Remove from heat and stir in mozzarella.
  1. Arrange naan on two large baking sheets in a single layer. Spread evenly with beef mixture and sprinkle with feta cheese.
  1. Bake in upper and lower thirds of preheated 400ºF oven for 10 to 15 minutes, switching pans halfway through, until naan is light golden and crisp around the edge.
